Travel website TripAdvisor recently announced its list of the world’s most popular museums, based on the comments of millions of travelers worldwide in 2014. The Jinsha Site Museum in Chengdu, the capital of Southwest China’s Sichuan province, was rated as one of the top 10 museums in China, along with the Qin Terracotta Army Museum in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, the Shanghai Museum, The Shaanxi History Museum and the National Museum of China in Beijing.
The US Defense Department and the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said on Thursday that US policy and military-to-military engagement strategy with China has not changed, contrary to a media report that said the Pentagon wouldn’t agree to a major new military exchange until the two countries can agree on rules for airborne encounters between their warplanes.
