Innovation gives fillip to export of goods

Chinese manufacturers and exporters have turned bullish on the economic outlook and external demand, expressing willingness to expand output and investment as official data showed an improvement in the country’s foreign trade. Xinshen Group Co. Ltd. in Wujiang, Jiangsu province, which makes fine linen products, expected to increase the value of its output 5 to 10 percent this year, said Li Jianfeng, its general manager. Production last year was worth 500 million yuan ($77 million).
